This strange reptilian underworld dweller is holding a key to unlock all the doors of the future for me. That’s what this means for me personally but it is obviously just my perspective.
Sculptural painting 🖼️ that took about 5 years. I did the sculptural aspect of this piece back in 2018 but changed the way it looked many times, then this piece got burned and I had to repair and repaint it again and again and wanted to represent my current artistic vision with all my current capabilities. So here it is! We as humans have all the answers and keys to all the doors we need to open. We just have to look within. Hail life hail love 🫶!

Although it is a humorous art piece I was able to attach smaller pieces so firmly without the use of silicone and it marks a certain threshold for me since silicone was limiting my creativity(too toxic and not durable). Having found a new medium for mixed media paintings makes me excited . Have a great night don’t drink too much and enjoy yourself!

Last two months I have slowly added layers and layers of paint on this piece to make it otherworldly and I succeeded:)
This piece has some many sides to it in different light settings. Presenting here uv breathing version. Water is such a great inspiration for me I’m all over the waterfalls and I love them so much since it’s a living representation of letting go and live on. Nature is the greatest teacher. About a week ago I posted about this piece and the making of it. Now it’s up close and personal just wanted to share the shine and the breath of this painting. Combination of mirror paint, iridescent and regular acrylic plus fluorescent colors provide this breathing effect.
When I was creating this, I literally had to be balanced in my thoughts to make it. It would not let me touch it otherwise that’s why it took about two months to create. Even though it’s not that big. On my opinion it’s the small paintings that can kick butt far longer than big ones since the details are smaller :)

I love that it’s a literal reminder to stay grounded and aligned with the all the things going on around us every day.

I have had random pieces from various places like my friend brought me this frog with a broken arm and I glued it to fix it, I also had a this vinyl laying around and in 2022 I did this splattered painting. Then recently I decided to put them all together knowing what I know now about color and light and a proper adhesive to bind it all together. There a psychedelic association of course but it wasn’t a main goal rather accidental.

I have had random pieces from various places like my friend brought me this frog with a broken arm and I glued it to fix it, I also had a this vinyl laying around and in 2022 I did this splattered painting. Then recently I decided to put them all together knowing what I know now about color and light and a proper adhesive to bind it all together. There a psychedelic association of course but it wasn’t a main goal rather accidental.

I was listening to Hozier one day, (I’m not a huge fan but a like a few songs,) with his “Arsonist Lullaby” song and it inspired me to create this painting. I love songs that make you think so In order to become whole we have to accept both sides of ourselves. It is a light reflective painting so it incorporates all the latest painting ideas I have been working with. It’s not very complex but it took me a while to stay focused on it to actually finish it. It wasn’t easy to stay balanced:) So yeah, let me know what you think about this and have great week ahead!
